Pacific Northwest Gardening Books

These two books have really inspired me to expand our vegetable garden and attempt to grow our own produce year round! The Zero Mile Diet has some great recipes ranging from organic fertilizers to baked breads, teas and sauces! Backyard Bounty is a great reference book for a beginner or advanced gardener, so much information that isnt complicated to follow!

  1. It is a really good book with great organic gardening tips and recipes. The planting guide is based on Vancouver Island, so that wont be useful, but her recommendations for growing unique vegetables is interesting!
